  3.                           Ordering Instructions

  5.    Three ways to order
  6.    -------------------
  7.    1. Order with your credit card (Visa/MC/Amex/Disc) from the Public
  8.       (software) Library by calling 1-800-242-4775 or 1-713-524-6394.
  9.       Ask for item #11917.  PsL will notify us on the day of the order and
  10.       we will ship your order via the U.S. Postal Service (USPS).  PsL is
  11.       an order service only.  They have no information on order status,
  12.       technical support, product options, etc.  You must contact the author
  13.       directly for this type of information.

  15.    2. Order on-line from CompuServe.  GO SWREG and follow the instructions
  16.       given.  File Maven's Registration ID is 5014.  You will be billed on
  17.       your regular CompuServe account.  CompuServe will notify us by e-mail
  18.       and we will ship your order via USPS.
  19.  
  20.    3. Order direct from the author by check or money order (drawn on
  21.       U.S.A. banks only) by completing and mailing the attached order
  22.       form.  Orders are shipped via USPS.

  24.    Three types of licenses
  25.    -----------------------
  26.    1. Single user license ($35) - Allows you to install one copy of the
  27.       software on a single PC.  Additional installations can be made if
  28.       you are the sole user of all the PCs involved.  The FMHOST.EXE
  29.       program may be installed on any number of PCs thus allowing you to
  30.       Link any number of PCs to the base unit without purchasing additional
  31.       licenses.

  33.    2. Network server license ($250) - Allows a network administrator to
  34.       install one copy on a single network server.  All workstations
  35.       connected to the server may use the program.  The FMHOST.EXE program
  36.       may be installed on any number of PCs thus allowing you to Link
  37.       a non-networked PC with any of the networked PCs.

  39.    3. Unlimited user site license ($750) - Allows an organization to
  40.       install the software on any PC based at the site, including
  41.       portables.  A site is defined as one or more buildings on a
  42.       contiguous area of land.

  44.    Shipping / Sales Tax
  45.    --------------------
  46.    U.S.A. and Canada customers must add $3.00 for shipping.  All others
  47.    must add $6.00.  Texas residents must add 8.25% sales tax.

  49.    Registered Version
  50.    ------------------
  51.    Registered users will receive the fully-licensed version of File Maven
  52.    which includes the parallel link option, a parallel link cable, disk,
  53.    and printed manual.  Customers in the U.S.A and Canada will also be
  54.    able to use the "Secure" feature in the file encryption command.
